Book Launch of ‘The Colours of My Rainbow’
The book ‘Colours of My Rainbow’ written by Himani Verma highlights an educational model for mainstreaming marginalized children through innovative methods of education which have been successfully implemented and adapted by the Al-Noor Charitable Society. The book was launched on February 21 in the presence of Mrs Kaur, wife of Dr Manmohan Singh, Salma Ansari, actors Aamir Khan, Gracy Singh and Shiamak Davar.

Book Launch of ‘Sach’
‘Sach’ a book on Sachin Tendulkar, authored by Gautam Bhattacharya, the Sports and Entertainment Editor of Ananda Bazar Patrika, with a foreword by Mahendra Singh Dhoni was launched on February 10 in Bengaluru, just ahead of the World Cup, 2011. Celebrity invitees included Sachin Tendulkar, Anil Kumble, Rahul Dravid, M. S. Dhoni, Yuvraj Singh, Yusuf Pathan and Gary Kirsten.

ALL INDIA Hindi Divas AWARDS
Madhubun celebrated Hindi Divas on September 14, 2010 by inviting entries from teachers across the country for the Madhubun Sambodhan Puraskar for original short stories and poems and the Madhubun Samadhan Puraskar for exemplary activities influencing a student’s learning.
Entries kept pouring in till November-end. Thousands of entries were painstakingly read and judged. Congratulations to all the winners! We are touched by your overwhelming response and good wishes.

National Book Launch
Madhubun's Annual National Book Launch was held on October 4-6, 2010 at Hotel Clarks Shiraz, Agra. It was attended by a large number of special invitees that included many principals and senior teachers of leading schools, authors and some key booksellers.
The meet saw the launch of several new titles, which include:
- CCE Made Simple Series: Practice books based on the latest CBSE guidelines for Classes 9 and 10 for Terms 1 and 2. The subjects covered are Hindi A and B, English Communicative, Mathematics, Science and Social Science.
- Special CCE Editions of many titles
- Animated / Interactive CD ROMs with many titlesThe Annual Meet saw a lot of exchange of ideas, information and updates from representatives of various regions. However, it wasn’t just all work and no play. There were some serious moments of fun too!

Annual Gathering at Manesar
The joint Annual Workshop of Vikas and Madhubun was held on May 22-23, 2010 at Best Western Country Club, Manesar. The two-day event was a huge success and was packed with a motivational workshop and team-building activities. There was much merriment and fervour as teams Vikas and Madhubun tried their hand at composing a ‘company anthem’
